OhMiBod…Audio Bliss

A vibrator that moves to the beat of the music.  What a grand idea. The OhMiBod is splashing onto the scene as the newest and hippest vibrator on the market.  But we wanted to see if there was anything more special to it than glorified vibrating phone and a fancy marketing scheme.

First of all there was something very familiar about this new vibe.  OhMiBod is strikingly similar to the Audi-Oh of the past, a vibrator that buzzed along to music played on a Walkman.  It worked by strapping on to the clitoris (like a panty) and plugging into a CD player to pick up the rhythm and intensity of the music on the CD. 

But when CDs were replaced by digital music the Audi-Oh disappeared. 

OhMiBod is the iPod replacement. And it does two things that the Audi-Oh did not: 1. It can be used internally (eg. in the vagina) as well as on the clitoris and 2. It works with an iPod. 

The Effect

OhMiBod looks like nothing special, it is average size (Measures 5 1/2" long (insertable) and 1 1/8" in diameter) in a cylindrical shape of white plastic.

But what makes this somewhat average vibrator so unique and fun is the unpredictable vibes that are synchronized to whatever music you choose play on your iPod.   It is easy to plug in and it automatically starts buzzing to the music.

The other benefit is that it doesn’t NEED an iPod.  If you don’t have a music player you can cap off the end and just use it as a vibrator, plain and simple.  If you can’t find your mp3 player it will also plug into your computer and play your tunes from there.

The Vibration
The strength of the vibration is determined by two things: 1. Volume or/and 2. The intensity of the music.  Choose a slow, smooth song for mild vibrations.  Or just turn down the volume of a spirited song.  Any way it is in your control.

Downside? 
It is not waterproof and it is not the quietest vibe I have heard.
