This was also my first penetrating vibrator and thought the size was daunting. The shaft does not vibrates but merely rotates. It simply didn't "fit" me well -- I couldn't seem to get the ears positioned right without squishing the actual rabbit part down at an angle. In addition, the bulbous head made a sharp "pop" every time the shaft pulled in or out -- a more gently sloping head would have made it more enjoyable.
